David Sanderson, a Senior Principal based in Warrington, presented today at an HSE/Offshore Structural Integrity Technical Authority Event. The event, “Structural Integrity Management in the North Sea – Continued Service Beyond the First 50 Years,” has brought regulators and structural integrity technical authorities of North Sea installations together so that they can discuss key structural integrity management (SIM) related topics and share experiences from 50 years of offshore operations – with a view to agreeing areas for further guidance due to evolving challenges.

The results of today’s meeting will not only identify common SIM issues, but will provide the HSE with necessary feedback so that those areas that require further guidance are clearly understood.
