We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Technical Safety Engineer to support our technical safety practice. The position is ideal for new graduates or individuals with one to two years’ experience in technical safety, or a related field such as chemical or process engineering.
The successful applicant will become more involved in projects related to oil, gas, LNG, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and renewable and conventional power generation, located both onshore and offshore and in a range of international locations. You will be working with major energy providers.
Our work supports the safe operation of existing facilities and the development of new facilities from Concept Engineering to Detailed Design. As well as consulting assignments, you will also be involved in technical development work to generate new tools for the business.
Background / Experience
Successful candidates will have a good master’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or applied mathematics, or may be qualified to a higher level. Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds, including academia, research, vendors, design, consulting, regulatory and operations. A background or proven interest in Major Hazard industries would be an advantage.
A Technical Safety background is not essential as we will provide support to applicants who have no direct experience but wish to use their existing skills as a springboard to this discipline.
