MMI Thornton Tomasetti is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to support our technical safety practice. The position is ideal for individuals with 5 to 10 years’ experience in technical safety.
The successful applicant will become more involved in projects related to oil, gas, LNG, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and renewable and conventional power generation, located both onshore and offshore and in a range of international locations.
Our work supports the safe operation of existing facilities and the development of new facilities from Concept Engineering to Detailed Design. As well as consulting assignments, you will also be involved in technical development work to generate new tools for the business.
Background / Experience
Successful candidates will have a good master’s degree, or PhD, in engineering, physics, chemistry or applied mathematics. Our staff members come from a variety of backgrounds, including design, consulting, research, academia, manufacturing, regulatory bodies and operations. We are interested in hearing from applicants with experience in any of these areas. However, a background in Major Hazard industries is essential.
You will have proven experience of managing the technical and commercial performance of teams delivering consultancy services of high quality to stringent deadlines.
