The Safety and Reliability Society (SaRS) is hosting a ‘question time’ style panel at Birchwood Golf Club, Warrington, on Thursday the 3rd of March.  The panel will be made up of individuals who have knowledge, insight and opinions on various aspects of safety and reliability.  Ian has been invited to sit alongside other experts, answering questions surrounding technology, skills, and safety and demand – on a global scale.

Ian is a Principal based at our Warrington office, and is a lead practitioner in technical safety, risk assessment, and risk management of onshore and offshore hydrocarbon production and storage facilities, including the onshore chemicals industry.  Most recently, Ian has worked on a three year asset re-validation HAZOP and LOPA, acting as technical coordinator for an oil and gas client.

Ian’s career has encompassed both the detailed technical involvement in projects, but also the co-ordination of major technical projects and multiple resources.  His exposure to different practices and Regulatory requirements has covered both onshore and offshore installations, including terminals, FPSOs and production platforms in the UK,  Europe, Tunisia, Indian, Middle East, and Malaysia.
