MMI Engineering (MMI) features within this month’s edition of Offshore Engineer. Coinciding with the magazine’s focus on asset integrity, our article discusses the importance of Passive Fire Protection and how more often than not, incorrect systems are specified and installed – compromising safety and loss prevention. The article also details The Hydrocarbon Passive Fire Protection Network (PFPNet), an independent, subscription-funded body launched and currently administered by MMI, which will focus on educating, training, researching key topics, and clarifying points of confusion for those that work with fireproofing materials and systems. It is PFPNet’s intention to improve the quality of PFP applications in hydrocarbon industries.  To find out more, please click here (our article feature between pages 26-27).
