Congratulations to Michael Hasson, who has been nominated to the position of Principal within the Geosyntec Family of Companies.

Michael is one of the four original founders of MMI UK and manages the Northern Ireland office, an office he founded in 2007.  Michael’s practice focuses on blast engineering, major hazards modelling and characterization, dense-phase carbon dioxide hazard modelling, crisis response and support engineering, and expert witness services

Michael has advanced MMI’s practice leadership by being the first employee to undertake computational fluid dynamics modelling for carbon dioxide in the context of carbon capture and storage projects, and contributing to the analysis, design, and fabrication oversight of blast walls, crushable buffer systems, wire rope systems for impact arrest, and process design for calciners.
