MMI’s Alex Bond presented at the National Skills Academy – Nuclear (NSAN) North of England Regional Meeting on Tuesday (20th June). His talk was on the new Competence Assurance System (CAS) being rolled out within MMI as part of an Integrated Management System, using the NS4P platform, and described how the NSAN Master framework was revised to meet MMI’s specific skills demands. The talk discussed the implementation of the system, and how it would be used to drive key business activities. Also presented was a new approach by which the CAS maturity could be evaluated in order to monitor progress toward a fully embedded and effective management system.
